POLO PARK HOMEOWNER ASSOCIATION
Meeting opened by Pres. Karen Grant with the Pledge of Allegiance and prayer.
Special Business: Board can vote to confirm two (2) new Board Members as follows:
Linda Sheerin to replace Howard Bilchie
Elise Hersey to replace Michael Valdez
Motion made by Karen Grant and second by Tony Mahoney for both Linda and Elise. All Board members voted to accept both nominees, there were no votes against. Linda and Elise took their seats on the Board.
New Business: Boulevard Pool will be closed for the next several days due to high bacteria count, This situation is being taken care of and will be corrected, hopefully, by Thursday of this week for your health and safety. Please do not use the pool if you have an open wound.
Challenger Pool: We have five (5) estimates for the repairs. The pool work will be voted on at the September meeting.
Budget Meetings: Please try to attend as it is important for all Homeowners. Notice will be placed in both clubhouses.
Budget Meeting Dates: Oct. 25, Nov. 15, Nov. 29, Dec. 16. All meetings will be held from 1 PM- 3 PM.
Rules & Regulations Meetings: Sept. 20,27, Oct. 6, 11, 18, 25, Nov. 1, 8, 15 All meetings will be held from 6-8 PM in the Challenger Clubhouse, All above meetings are subject to change.
Elise Hersey handed packets to each Board member listing Violation Letters of work not resolved. Board members will review and vote on sending to Fining Committee.
Fining Committee: Chair: Dick Hamilton. Members: Karen LaBriola and Richard Mathews. Dick requested an alternate member and Marletta Frantel volunteered and was accepted.
Florida Statute: Can fine $100 per day but committee will fine $50 per day until work is completed. Board can also hire someone to do the required work or send "angels" (volunteers) to do the work at no expense. Board will send a letter the home owner explaining the conditions of the rule and consequences.
Linda asked that anyone who sees a situation that needs correction to see a Board Member.

Following the meeting Rose Ryback spoke about Bingo — hot dogs from 3-5 PM. All welcome.
