ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW (ARC), AND RULES AND REGULATIONS NEWS

The ARC committee has been busy all summer as homeowners have submitted ARC requests for making material changes to the exterior of their homes and property. ARC requests are available on our website or at the Boulevard office. A completed and approved ARC request is always required to make changes that are visible from the exterior of your property. Each lot is subject to all easements/setbacks shown on the recorded plat of each lot. We are aware that in the past, many projects done by homeowners were not in line with our covenants and restrictions. We are trying to change that by being careful to follow our guidelines now.

The Rules and Regulations committee has also been hard at work monitoring to keep the park beautiful, by helping homeowners understand their shared responsibly for the up keep of their property. Remember… park vehicles only on driveways, and not on landscape. Follow our guidelines with your storage items. Nobody wants to live next to a neglected property.

Both committees follow the HOA documents called Covenants and Restrictions. The documents are available in the office if anyone needs a copy. Polo Park is a deed restricted community. This means property owners must follow HOA rules that limit how they can use their property and land. Polo Park HOA guidelines were created to help govern and set rules for the homeowners. These HOA documents were also designed to promote the quality of livability, enhance beauty, and protect property values. The committees and the board liaison can help with questions anyone has regarding these topics.

We also want to welcome all new homeowners and residents to Polo Park!

Please know that you are required to register at the office when moving in. Homeowners are responsible to ensure that purchasers of their homes must meet the 55 plus rule before moving into Polo Park. Renters must also register in the office and meet the 55 plus rule. There also needs to be a written and signed lease in the office with a list of all people occupying the home. Also please ensure the addresses on your homes are clearly marked and readable from the road.
